Position Summary:

This position manages all functions related to plant maintenance, equipment maintenance, construction, and purchasing/vendor management to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility. The incumbent will effectively manage plant projects in regards to repairs, safety initiatives, and environmental compliance.


•Coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance activities with production
•Responsible for taking a lead role with plant safety initiatives
•Responsible for negotiating pricing with vendors/contractors
•Responsible for maintaining the plant part inventory
•Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with all capital projects
•Maintaining plant property, building and grounds
•Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance
•Responsible for establishing TPM program including planning, scheduling and executing complete restoration events
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives in all areas that will improve YOY productivity requirements
•Use A3 methodology to drive systematic problem solving activities

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or operations management 
  • Minimum 10 years experience in supervising/managing 
  • Possesses 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Injection Molding preferably in the Packaging Industry
    •Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people
    •Previous experience working in a Lean environment preferred
    •Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus
    •Exceptional leadership and proven team building skills
    •Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem solving skills
    •Has the ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment

•Microsoft Office Proficiency; SAP knowledge preferred
