Position Summary:
Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines
- Maintain all shipping and receiving paperwork
- Receive, ship, store, and transfer material for use in manufacturing
- Work directly with freight carriers to coordinate efficient pickup and delivery of products
- Daily reporting for the shipping department
- Update and maintain dock schedule
- Assist with broad range of warehouse tasks, utilizing forklifts, pallet movers, dollies and carts. Transport materials to and from production areas
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Assist Operators with various material handling duties
- Assist Operators with various material handling duties
- Coordinate, communicate and signal replenishment of material from the various stock locations to production
- Receive, inspect, store, and properly control the integrity of materials
- Work collaboratively with Shipping, Customer Service, and Production Planning to ensure on time pickup/delivery and customer satisfaction
