Basic function:

The Regional Sales Representative - Ohio, actively seeks to increase sales volume and margin by providing exceptional service to existing customer accounts in the highly competitive packaging industry.  Continuously searches for and delivers new strategic accounts to further grow sales, margin, and revenue.


  • Reports directly to Regional Sales Manager
  • Manages accounts within territory to include all pricing, planning, and CRM functions
  • Proactively manages territory to maximize growth and customer retention, while understanding impact to Mauser and the marketplace
  • Understands competitor’s products and capabilities, and how that relates to Mauser’s
  • Acts as a consultant and a value-added resource to the customer
  • Is a role model that demonstrates professional integrity at all time as a representative of Mauser from a legal and ethical standpoint
  • Coordinates communication between operations, customer service, and customer
  • Prepares and communicates weekly calendar; reports all other necessary information through an internal CRM system
  • Reviews own performance metrics to ensure achievement of monthly sales, revenue, and margin goals
  • Attends sales meetings to review territory performance and receive company/product training
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Works from home office with moderate to extensive overnight travel


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 plus years of experience in outside sales; manufacturing a plus
  • Experience with large geographical and revenue territories
  • Microsoft office proficiency
  • Successful negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated in fast paced changing environment
