Position Summary:
Installs handles as required and performs final inspection of already formed plastic containers.
B Shift Schedule:
- Sunday-Tuesday 6:00pm-6:15am
- Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am
D Shift Schedule:
- Wednesday 12am-6:15am
- Thursday-Saturday 6:00pm-6:15am
Essential Job Functions:
- Insert plastic handles into plastic pails
- Orients finished parts on pallet/box as per production order
- Supply worksite with raw materials (handles/gaskets)
- Keep work area clean and organized for safety
- Continuously monitor quality of product and follow established protocols when defects are found
- Willing to work reasonable overtime as needed
- Attend all safety meetings
Job Requirements
Essential Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Basic Math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on feet up to 12 hours per shift
- Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Good vision to be able to see defects
