Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Prepare, process, calculate and audit weekly/biweekly/semi-monthly full cycle payroll for multiple states; according to current procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll checks
  • Ensures payroll information is reported correctly to federal, state and local agencies while being in compliance of payroll laws
  • Administrative duties including training of field support on the electronic timekeeping system
  • Support and assist in resolution of payroll inquiries, research requests, and other inquires related to payroll taxes, deductions, wage withholdings, etc.
  • Assist in compiling payroll data and statistics necessary for reporting including preparation of payroll reports and journal entries as needed
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax requirements, regulations, and reporting
  • Support year-end activities, reconcile and distribute W-2 forms, fringe benefits, relocation, W-2c preparation


Job Requirements


  •  3-5 years of payroll related work experience
  •  Recent Oracle Fusion HCM experience (within the last 3 yrs.), or experience with mid 2000 ADP platforms and/or PeopleSoft. Experience with Cloud-based application a plus. 
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Payroll & Time and Attendance systems Kronos Work Force Central or Dimensions experience highly preferred 
  • International payroll processing experience a plus 
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax requirements, regulations, and reporting 
  • Working knowledge of garnishment processing requirements, regulations, and reporting 
  • Strong computer skills when using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated payroll system, Microsoft Office, proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to foster relationships while being flexible and able to switch focus as needed 
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer services skills and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels 
  • Strong organizational skills with good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously both independently and as a part of a team
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively while working under pressure to meet strict deadlines
