Position Overview

The Tax Manager of Global Tax will report to the Tax Director of Global Tax.  The position will manage various tax matters, including US international tax compliance, tax provision, related audits and leading ad hoc projects (i.e. analyzing and computing tax impact of any tax law changes or assistance in the tax integration of any acquisitions).  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and review of the international federal income tax filings and the accurate, timely filing of all related tax forms. Includes the collection of information necessary to complete noted income tax returns including Form 5471s, 8858s and 8865s.
  • Assist in managing third party provider in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions for US and non-US jurisdictions.
  • Identify and implement various process improvements to existing tax procedures.
  • Lead special projects, including tax planning, provision, forecasting, research and documentation. Includes the monitoring and analysis of tax legislation and inform management of the impact from a tax compliance and provision perspective.
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning opportunities resulting in cash savings to the company.
  • Oversee the completion of reconciliations for various tax accounts.
  • Manage and mentor members of tax team.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience working in a multinational corporate tax department and/or public accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong experience with OneSource Income Tax software
  • Experience with accounting software (i.e. SAP) and financial consolidation tools (i.e. Oracle FCCS)
  • Domestic and international tax experience including strong tax technical knowledge including §163(j), GILTI and Subpart F
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership of projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and complete time-sensitive duties
  • Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
