Position Overview


The Finance Manager, FP&A and Demand Planning will be both a key FP&A resource to the Small Packaging Division as well as
the primary Demand Planner for the business. As a key FP&A resource, this role will provide in-depth and detailed analytics
and actionable insight into the full sales cycle from demand planning and pricing through profitability reporting and analysis.
In the Demand Planning role specifically, this person will work closely with the Sales team to provide monthly updates to
demand outlooks as part of the company’s S&OP process. Reporting to the Director, FP&A for NASP, this position will have to
balance detailed and advanced analytical skills with keen business acumen to develop a deep understanding of the industry
and business dynamics.

Responsibilities:
• Work directly with Sales Leadership and the entire sales team to budget and forecast unit volumes and average selling
prices and to perform regular and ad hoc analytics around volume, mix, price, and cost drivers of variances.
• Develop and maintain a monthly demand planning process, including monthly Demand Reviews
• Maintain and extend detailed, accurate, and efficient data models that provide actionable insights from the most detailed
levels up to division-wide summary views. This will include the ability to summarize findings in compelling and easy-tounderstand
dashboards and reports.
• Own reporting relationship with Corporate FP&A for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as well as budget /
forecast templates
• Collect and analyze industry and general economic data to support longer-term strategic planning
• Perform regular and ad hoc analytics around division-wide profitability and financial performance, including working
across the NASP finance team to establish and deliver consistent reporting templates and insightful analytics.
• Support division-wide projects and initiatives that may include system implementations or upgrades, process
improvements, M&A initiatives, etc.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or other applicable Masters-level degree preferred
• Passion for reporting excellence
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with 3+ years of experience with financial reporting and analytics
• Prior S&OP experience, especially in a manufacturing environment, strongly preferred. Experience with Logility a
plus.
• Advanced / Expert-level Excel skills and demonstrable ability to efficiently create advanced data models
• Experience with other advanced data analytic and visualization tools preferred
• Experience with a leading ERP system (especially SAP) and the ability to query and directly access transactional level
data tables strongly preferred
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion considered a plus
• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and complete time sensitive
duties.
