Internship Title: Anniston’s Summer 2021 Quality Internship

Internship summary: Student will work at the Mauser Packaging Solutions Plant in Anniston, AL, under the guidance of Safety and Health Manager and mentors. The student will assist with any needed updates on all Quality Process Sheets for the Anniston, AL IBC facility, as well as complete two Ergonomics projects that will be utilized in all IBC facilities nationwide.

Internship responsibilities:

• Sophomore or Junior studying in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, General Engineering, or a Business major with a minor in any of these areas.
• Familiar with ergonomics assessment tools such as ‘RULA’ (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment), and ‘REBA’ (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) for determining risk.
• Able to evaluate current Quality Process Sheets (QPS) as well as all Job Breakdown Trainings (JBT) and determine if updates are needed.
• Revise QPS and JBT’s for each job station and determine if re-training in necessary for each worker.
• Must be able to commit to working during 1^st shift for an 8 hour shift up to 5 days per week.
