HR Coordinator Duties:

  • Create job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System and disposition candidates through the recruiting process.
  • Review and paper screen applicants.
  • Schedule interviews for Managers/Supervisors
  • Participate in or conduct phone and/or in person interviews as needed
  • Participate in weekly HR staffing calls with Divisional Sr. HR Manager
  • Facilitate pre-employment screenings for candidates offered positions.
  • Schedule and conduct all new employee orientations.
  • Complete all Payroll Status Change forms and submit to the HRIS/Payroll departments.
  • Keep accurate and secure employee files.
  • Assist, as needed, with workers compensation administration, leave of absences, return with restrictions etc.
  • Monitor and track vacation requests for all employees.
  • Submit any supplemental or adjustment reports to payroll with management approval if needed.
  • Conduct annual benefits open enrollment meetings for all employees. Ensure all employees enroll or decline an election option.
  • Keep all employee communication boards up to date and organized including federal and state postings.
  • Calculate and distribute monthly people metric reports to management, such as absenteeism rates, turnover, safety etc.
  • Assist management in providing accurate time records by auditing employee time cards. Communicating to management if there are errors that they need to correct.
  • Audit hourly attendance points for progressive discipline distribution. Communicate to the plant management team as needed.
  • Assist all employees with paycheck questions/issues. Partner with the Payroll department as needed.
  • Assist all employees with benefits related questions/issues. Partner with the Benefits department as needed.
  • Assist all employees with leave of absence administration.
  • Conduct exit interviews and process terminations as needed.
  • Act as liaison between employees and management. Assist with HR related questions/concerns.  Partner with Divisional Sr. HR Manager as needed.
  • Assist with investigation administration as needed.
  • Track and coordinate any plant celebrations, such as birthdays.
  • Coordinate and order lunches/dinners as needed for training's and/or guest visits.
  • Other duties assigned by Divisional Sr. HR Manager

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Codes and Enters invoices
  • Completes 3 way match
  • Resolves any errors with receipts (unmatched report)
  • Reconciles any price difference from PO and invoice
  • Maintains records for AP
  • Prepares documents for controller to prepare month-end accruals (req. forms/packing slips without invoices etc.)
  • Communicate payment information to vendors as requested
  • Completes orders for all office supplies and janitorial supplies as well as any misc. items needed for plant
  • Restock break-room and office supplies.
  • Maintains capital files
  • Checks production entered against production reported
  • Signs for packages
  • Signs vendors and visitors in/out as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager


Job Requirements


  • High School diploma required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of HR administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with Employment Laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, WORD, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Conduct oneself with highest level of professionalism at all times.
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Good organizational, planning and follow up skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended period.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to wear all safety PPE required such as steel-toed shoes and earplugs when walking the plant floor.
  • Ability to walk the plant floor for short periods in a non-climate controlled environment. Temperatures in Spring/Summer 90+ degrees.
