Corporate Project Engineer - SME Can Press 


  • Subject Matter Expert in Press Processes (Scroll Shears, Standard presses, Sheet fed presses).
    • Confirms system and product capabilities and productivity targets of Welders/Slitters
    • Develops mechanical and electromechanical training programs for punch press, researching and testing manufacturing methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
    • Develops manufacturing processes and tracking documentation along with modifying equipment for Punch press.
    • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
    • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Provides engineering information on best practices for welder set up and maintenance. • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
    • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
    • Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and entering data
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineer and/or 3-5 years of similar or related industry experience
  • Demonstrable skills in equipment maintenance, control engineering and production planning
  • Willing to travel
