Job Description

Basic Function:
The focus of this role will be to provide Administrative support to the HR and Safety teams and will require interaction with other facility leaders in addition to the employee population.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all incoming visitors;
- Assign name badges and safety equipment for visitors and new hires, as applicable.
- Schedules interviews and training sessions as directed
- Updates databases as directed
- Prepares and distributes reports as related to hiring, training and EHS
- Assists in absence management including but not limited to employee follow up, management notifications and completing forms.
- Assists in creation and maintenance of employee files in accordance with company procedures for HR and EHS
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree a plus
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an office/plant environment
- Must have strong oral and verbal communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Good troubleshooting skills
- Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use decimals and fractions
- Ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner, demonstrate personal responsibility, and perform all assigned duties
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Working knowledge of MS office and exceptional computer skills
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
