Job Description

Treasury Analyst 

This position will report to the Treasury Manager and will be a key contributor to the Treasury organization by setting the daily cash position, execution of wire payments, and administration of user access across various banking platforms. 

This is a perfect role for a new graduate looking to establish a career in Treasury. The successful candidate will support our existing Treasury Group and liaise with key functional areas within the company on a regular basis.

  • Manages, maintains and enhances daily cash management including reconciliation.
  • Support wire/ACH processing and settlement of Treasury payments including settlements of interest payments, intercompany loan payments, etc.
  • Manages all payment failures and exceptions and works directly with bank and treasury to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoots bank account and treasury transaction related issues.
  • Prepare monthly reporting package for accounting.
  • Analyze bank fees, find trends, and recommend changes internally to reduce fees.
  • Maintain user access and perform quarterly audits of users.
  • Review LOC on a monthly basis to ensure they are still needed. Prepare new LOC or changes for approval.
  • Perform monthly debt reconciliation, i.e., interest accruals, outstanding balances, etc.
  • Drive automation and increase efficiency.
  • Manage banking operations with attention to detail (i.e., template maintenance and creation, payment initiation, and user access on banking platforms).Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, including identifying and implementing improvements to mitigate risk and streamline processes as well as ensuring procedures are updated

Job Requirements


  • BA or BS - preferably in accounting, finance, or economics and / or 0-3 years Treasury experience.
  • Broad understanding of banking services, standards, best practices, clearing systems, and payment technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across the organization
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with analytical prowess
  • Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to perform ad hoc process improvement project management
  • Knowledge of treasury principles, policies and practices.
  • Demonstrated critical conceptual and intellectual skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks associated with a proposed business initiative and recommend alternative actions. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
