Responsibilities:

• Supports a culture where employees address unsafe conditions, and unsafe behaviors and participate and make suggestions for improvement.

• Identify safety gaps and self-initiate corrective actions.

• Strictly adhere to plant safety, housekeeping, and 5S efforts.

• Understands, identifies, and corrects safety gaps.

• Drive a culture change that empowers employees to understand and accept their accountabilities.

Knowledge / Skills & Abilities:

• Understand, apply, and mentor team members on Ten Guiding Principles

• Ability to challenge the status quo to facilitate continuous improvement

• Ability to collaborate across roles and diverse groups, gather and share feedback

• Ability to stay current in best practices and be a continuous learner

• Ability to plan and manage routine and annual outages for asset bases

• Strong communication, presentation, planning, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strategic thinking skills

 

Job Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing environment; preferably a packaging or injection molding environment.
  • Knowledge of Hot Stamp and HTL applications.
  • Knowledge of HIPPO system, and the ability to work efficiently with the database.
  • Embraces continuous improvement.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus.
  • Self-directed team player.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
