The Senior Process Specialist will report to the Director RTR and is part of the Financial Shared Services (“FSS”) function. This role will assist with the current scope of RTR services through collaboration with business unit accounting departments and offshore shared service center.  A key focus of the position is to also drive continuous improvement and harmonization within RTR and drive organizational efficiency and controls through expansion of RTR scope.

In addition to RTR responsibilities, this position is expected to collaborate with the other two sub-functions of FSS – Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) – to drive overarching process and disciplines for FSS that include process design and mapping, KPI management, continuous improvement and scope expansion protocols, and collaboration with offshore shared service center.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Design and Optimization: Coordinate with multiple departments to understand the current state of each internal process. Prepare process documentation (i.e., flowcharts and procedures) for each internal process to identify opportunities for process enhancements. Work to implement the identified changes to adopt best practices across the company.
  • Team Management: Partner with IBM team to transition identified opportunities from Business Unit to the offshore team.
  • Performance Review: Monitor and analyze established KPI for review with management.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the annual evaluation of the risk matrix to identify potential areas of opportunity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist the Director GPO – RTR with all ad-hoc projects.
  • Assist with and identify opportunities to reduce audit hours.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • CPA or CIA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a corporate internal audit department or public accounting.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects, project leader skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite (including Visio).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.
  • Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational skills, drive and lead project, project leader skills

This position is based in our Atlanta, GA corporate office and offers a hybrid schedule.
