Position Summary:

Collects and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Follows inspection, test plan and coordinates quality assurance system to maintain internal and external standards. Completes quality records and reports.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform quality inspections and respond to issues at production lines
  • Identify defects and follow Internal Quality process
  • Perform containment for defects
  • Use measuring tools and equipment to assure product is within specifications
    • Mics, Calipers, Dial indicators, Scales, Height Gage, etc.
  • Perform DOT tests (Buckle/Burst) and record data.
  • Collect data and perform transactions in SAP
  • Use various computer programs to record and report data
  • File digital data and completed forms/job packets and various reports as needed
  • Collect and inspect product for customer samples
  • Travel may be required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Math skills
  • Computer Skills
    • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
    • SAP, Infinity Software
  • Auditing skills – Inspection and ISO
  • Ability to read and understand prints and spec data sheets
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Quality Training/Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools is a plus

**Scheduled shift is from 7:00PM - 7:00AM**

  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Available for any shift.
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
  • Implement and follow safe work practices and rules.
  • Able to prove they have a right to work in the United States.
  • Successfully pass a physician’s examination, drug screen and background check.
  • Wiling to have a baseline audio metric test
  • Prefer high school graduate or GED.
  • Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job
