Position Summary:
Installs handles or gaskets as required and performs final inspection of already formed plastic containers.
We are currently seeking 12 hour shift ROTATING WEEKEND, Employees for OVERNIGHT. Shift is OVERNIGHT from 8PM-8AM. Overnight Available

Shift employees work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week.

This is an ENTRY level position that will hopefully serve as a feeder position for higher level roles eventually.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Insert wire or plastic handles into plastic pails
  • Insert gasket, cap or plug into plastic covers
  • Orient finished parts on pallet/box as per production order
  • Supply worksite with raw materials (handles/gaskets)
  • Keep work area clean and organized for safety
  • Continuously monitor quality of product and follow established protocols when defects are found
  • Willing to work reasonable overtime as needed
  • Attend all safety meetings



Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in team environment

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
