The Procurement Data & Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the global procurement function. Involvement will include Raw Material analyses, commodity index tracking, suppliers, management, cost modeling & control, internal management reporting, key performance metric development and reporting, forecast and planning models and ad-hoc business analysis. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance of Procurement & Logistics. This role is a key business partner to EVP Global Procurement, VP Global Commodities and VP FP&A.


Key activities

  • Prepare internal management reporting and analysis to support operational leadership in daily decision making as well as supporting communications with senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Work with the global Procurement and SBU operations teams, develop useful accurate, meaningful, and streamlined reporting to reduce the burden of reporting from the procurement teams
  • Develop of budgets and forecasts
  • Collect consolidate and analyze monthly financial and inflation data
  • Review/validate data for accuracy and consistency and work with any other team necessary to improve accuracy and reliability of data
  • Ensure correct financial reporting across all business units through coordination with finance teams in every business unit and the corporate finance team
  • Assist in preparing monthly results deck for distribution to management and Board of Directors
  • Provide all necessary support to help the team achieve the Mauser EIP (earnings initiatives projects) goals, a global cost optimization project optimizing the integration of business processes across all business units
  • Define, prepare and streamline analysis to support reporting and forecasting to the various SBU financial teams, the global FP&A team and the procurement team.



Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
• 3+ years of experience (non-manager role) with data analysis & FP&A and a         manufacturing background is preferred
• Outstanding Excel, modeling and PowerPoint skills required
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Access database, Power BI                 considered a plus
• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects
• Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
• knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and business processes preferred
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly and       multi-tasking is key to success
• This is a hands-on position and a successful candidate will have to roll up their      sleeves to succeed. He or she must be able to “deep dive” into the details of the    business while staying focused on the big picture and be able to conceptualize      both problems and solutions
