Print Packer

2nd Shift- M-F - 3:30pm-12midnight


-Follows all safety rules and procedures and observes the operations to insure a safe environment.

-Assist Operator in removing and installing printing plates onto the printing machine.

-Assist Operator in cleaning plates and ink well

-Assist Operator in machine set-up

-Assemble cardboard boxes

-Record daily production and complete production paperwork

-Read setup sheets and update records, logs and data as to production rates.

-Review setup sheets regularly on production runs to ensure compliance with packaging document, deco request, customer code, ink color and plate number.

-Keep an organized work area.

-Follows first article procedure to ensure a quality product.

-Keep printing plates organized in a designated area.

-Monitors conveyor belts operations, reduces bottlenecks, and keeps line moving.

-Possess good communication skills to interact with production co-workers

-Be able to work overtime with short notice in emergency situations.

-Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


-Good communication and comprehension skills
-Basic math and measurement skills
-Ability to solve practical problems or trouble shoot problems
-Ability to use a variety of common hand tools
-Basic mechanical abilities
-Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required

Selection Process:

-Recommendation from Supervisor that they meet the above stated qualifications and responsibilities.

-Excellent safety record.

-Good attendance record.

-Initiative and proficiency in current and past roles.

-If above competencies are met, the final step will be an interview.
