Coordinates and schedules the activities of manufacturing operations for the Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sturtevant, Wisconsin by planning the production requirements in coordination with sales, customer service and the plant(s).


Responsibilities

  • Prepares production schedules with attention to product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan operations.
  • Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
  • Provides support and information to sales and customer service with data that helps them with customer needs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis including providing corrective action suggestions for implementation to remove the bottleneck of processes and improve production ability.
  • Ability to retrieve, input and utilize data from management reporting systems such as SAP, etc.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction: implement material and information flow processes that anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships.
  • Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; Supply planning or supply chain certifications (CPIM, APICS, etc.) preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft office programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to react to situations in a timely manner and be flexible with people and operational assets.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret sales and production reports.
