Master Data Management Manager

As an integral member of our newly formed SIOP team, you will support our company strategically and tactically by reviewing and restructuring how master data is created, maintained, and utilized. By ensuring the master data integrity in our key systems and maintain processes, you will support our overall master data quality.

As the Master Data Manager, you will function as the point of contact for our company for the oversight and governance of product, operations, supplier, and customer related data.

Here’s what you can expect as the Master Data Manager at Mauser Packaging Solutions:

  • Manages master data for the organization and ensures master data integrity
  • Defines and implements master data strategies, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
  • Provides advice and guidance to all functional data owners on master data integrity
  • Enforces master data policies by working closely with data functional owners and/or IT department to ensure alignment of master data rules and policies
  • Conducts data integrity audit to detect policy deviations or inconsistencies
  • Creates data quality metrics and reporting to validate and enforce operating and key control activities
  • Serves as a primary point person in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership and data replication to ensure integrity of data sets
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
  • Manages, analyzes, and resolves data related issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards
  • Develops and implements strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met
  • Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to improve master data management
  • Work with functional business unit team members to identify master data related improvement opportunities

Job Requirements

To be successful as our Supply Planning & Capacity Manager, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or relevant discipline
  • 5 years experience in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, or similar manufacturing environment
  • Expertise with Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Presentation Architecture and/or Statistics
  • Extensive working knowledge of SAP within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, a high sense of urgency, and exceptional critical thinking and analysis skills are a necessity
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong project management and communication skills are required with the ability to work effectively across multiple functional disciplines and with people in various geographies
  • Effective influence and persuasion skills
  • Recent project management experience, with proven ability to achieve project goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Tableau
