Basic Function:

The Center of Excellence Lead (COEL) owns key business processes and is accountable for driving organization objectives and outcomes. The COEL provides strategic oversight and day-to day management of transformational change while directing resources to support, monitor, and measure operational performance across Mauser North American Industrial Packaging.  As the organization shifts priorities, the COEL will optimize and scale business practices to ensure that business objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational excellence workstream including talent and change management-related initiatives across the order to cash journey
  • Champion an enterprise perspective throughout the company, acting to accelerate change and encourage adoption throughout the company
  • Optimize and scale leading practices in transformational change; evolve the COE so it’s a best-in-class function within the packaging industry
  • Design the strategic approach for managing change; manage the change portfolio; orchestrate execution of all company transformations
  • Interface with leadership – convene and lead an Advisory Board to align on priorities and expectations
  • Continuously monitor and optimize performance across regions and facilities through data-driven analyses; promote data-driven and condition-based actions and decisions
  • Support the development of executive-level analysis, briefings, & reports for and to senior Mauser leadership
  • Periodic travel, up to 25% annually

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s or other advanced degree is preferred
  • 4+ years of transformation and/or management consulting experience, with demonstrated behavioral and technical skills to drive lasting change
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders beyond direct reporting lines
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to transforming operations
  • Leading change management experience leveraging both formal and informal mechanisms to influence others and drive change
  • Experience working across multiple project timelines with extended cross functional teams
  • Strong executive presence as well as interpersonal and written communication skills, delivering at the executive level
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
