Basic Function:

Mauser Packaging Solutions is immediately hiring a Maintenance Parts Clerk. The focus of this role will be to provide clerical support to the maintenance department.  This is an hourly position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support to site Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager
  • Work with Maintenance department personnel and provide assistance in getting necessary tools, items, etc. 
  • Assist with creations of Purchase Orders
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with vendors, customers, and internal departments
  • Run reports in SAP
  • Update and maintain information in various programs to include Excel, Word, Office, etc. 
  • Respond to requests for information from internal departments as needed
  • Responsible for ordering and purchasing parts online and in person.
  • Driving to pick up parts/supplies for the Maintenance department, must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and have reliable car.
  • Various other duties and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with SAP is strongly desired.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree a plus
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an office/plant environment
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Good troubleshooting skills
  • Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use decimals and fractions
  • Perform work in a mature and professional manner, demonstrate personal responsibility, and perform all assigned duties
  • Work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • Working knowledge of MS office and exceptional computer skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license. 
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
