Position Scope:

This position will report to the VP, Financial Shared Services and be responsible for leading the Record to Report process for Mauser Packaging. This role will be part of a Global Process Owner (GPO) team responsible for driving and delivering sustainable, streamlined processes with exceptional controls. The key emphasis of this role will be to drive standardization and accountability by building strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensuring service delivery in accordance to defined SLA’s/KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and continuously improve Record to Report (R2R) processes that are effective and sustainable
• Drive accountability through process controls and by leveraging technology
• Manage relevant policies and procedures affecting R2R processes
• Be the global champion to drive standardization across key processes
• Proactively monitor and anticipate changing business, regulatory, and financial requirements, processes and practices
• Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations, procedures and accounting standards
• Ensure process workflows and documentation are properly maintained and up to date with the current processes
• Design people, process, and technology standards for end-to-end process
• Establish and maintain an appropriate accounting control environment
• Creating a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence
• Own the relationship between the SBU retained financial controlling teams and the service provider
• Work with service provider to deliver R2R services in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs.
• Proactively mitigate risks and timely resolve escalated issues
• Understand and improve data collection methods where necessary
• Design & implement master data governance across end-to-end process
• Review existing R2R landscape across Business Units and engage with key stakeholders
