The Global Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Global Corporate Accounting team in areas including, but not limited to, corporate/segment accounting issues, accounting policies & trainings, segment balance sheet reviews, external audit process and financial reporting.

The key responsibilities of this role would be to support the Global Corporate Accounting team in the following areas:

• Accounting issues – Identify, analyze & document accounting issues arising in areas such as revenue recognition, inventory, goodwill & intangibles, leases and reportable segments.
• Accounting policies – Update & maintain accounting policies issued by Global Corporate Accounting.
• Technical accounting trainings – Assist with the preparation of training materials and be a significant contributor in raising awareness in accounting staff, through trainings, about key accounting concepts in a clear & concise manner.
• Segment balance sheet reviews – Assist with the quarterly balance sheet reviews by partnering & coaching the segment teams on process improvements and ensure the quarterly reviews are documented timely.
• External audit process – Act as a conduit between the external auditors and the segment teams to ensure timely submission of audit evidence that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Financial reporting – Support the financial reporting team in certain technical areas such as documenting our assessment of newly issued accounting standards.
• Other areas of potential involvement – Purchase accounting, post-acquisition integration and management reporting.
