Job Description

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for all functions related to plant equipment maintenance, plant safety, plant construction,  and vendor management to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility. The incumbent will effectively manage plant projects regarding repairs, safety initiatives, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities: 

    • Leads daily meetings with Operations team to review safety, quality and production performance.
    • Responsible for leading plant safety initiatives.
    • Reviews and updates Key Safety Indicator KPIs (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to ensure facility is on track.
    • Conducts Behavior-Based Safety observations and works with employees to ensure they are performing their job in a safe manner.
    • Leads monthly site safety review to understand problem areas and establish plans to improve overall safety record and reduce incidents.
    • Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with all capital projects and safety (thru EHS).
    • Maintaining plant property, building and grounds.
    • Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance on facilities equipment.
    • Responsible for establishing TPM program including planning, scheduling and executing complete restoration events for plant facility equipment.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
  • Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people.
  • Strong financial acumen including an understanding of the budgeting process and how they relate to KPIs.
  • Exceptional leadership, change management and communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
