As a CDL Driver with Mauser Packaging Solutions in Cannon Falls, MN, you are the final link in our customer service chain. You’ll impress by delivering the correct products, in the correct quantity, to each of our customers — safely and on time. • Drivers are eligible for a Safety Bonus of $2,000 for a violation free year
• Sign on Bonus of $3,500 in the first year of employment

• Salary $30/Hr. Plus $1/hr. extra with hazmat (Not Required)

You begin each day getting your instructions and schedule on an electronic logging device. You then complete a pre-trip inspection to ensure all components of your vehicle for that day are in good working order. The rest of the day is mainly spent on the road. At times, you may help with loading or unloading, but mostly you’ll be checking off the paperwork and getting back on the road. You do a post-trip inspection of your vehicle at the end of the day. After each inspection, you can fix any minor issues that you feel comfortable with like replacing a headlight, for example. Then you flag any issues you weren’t able to fix. 

To thrive in this role, you must have a valid Class A CDL license, pass a Department of Transportation physical, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check. You must also be an absolute stickler for safety. You understand that proper equipment maintenance and alert, safe driving are key to moving a commercial motor vehicle on the highway in various weather conditions, road construction, traffic jams, etc.
